  3. Welcome to KARATEstack 1.0: the Martial Art Computer (MAC) Dojang!

  6. Last year KARATEstack was uploaded as a demo version with only a few animated sequences included.
  7. This is version 1.0.2, released as shareware ($15)
  8. It is the full version release, with all animated sequences included.

  10. What you need:
  11. Hypercard 2.1 or higher
  12. The Quicktime extension (1.6 or higher recommended)
  13.  
  14. Changes made since the original release:
  15. Compatibility with Hypercard 2.2
  16.      I had to rewrite several scripts to make it run in version 2.2, for reasons unknown   
  17.      to me, the movies failed to run in 2.2, I suspect it is a bug in the program (?).
  18.      Also, one of my variables failed in 2.2 resulting in an error message. It has been 
  19.      worked-around.
  20. Cosmetic changes
  21.      Mostly minor cosmetic changes, some related to the script rewrite, others include 
  22.      the (optional) ability for the animated sequence window to automatically close 
  23.      when exiting a card.

  27. Be sure to allocate at least 1300k to Hypercard 2.1 otherwise an error may result in the opening of one of the movies, my own testing indicated that version 2.2 may need even more than this (at least 1400k).
